Media Days

Fall Media Day 2026 date is set!

Fall Media Day this semester will take place Nov. 2 at the Thurman J. White Forum Building on the OU campus. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. Opening sessions will start at 9:15 a.m., and the day will wrap up at 3 p.m. Cost is $18.50 per person.

What is an OSM Media Day?

Each fall and spring, OSM hosts Media Day, which is a conference that allows journalism students from across the state to gather and attend media workshops, seminars and lectures taught by professionals and professors.

Normally, Media Day events run from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. at the University of Oklahoma-Norman campus. Advisers can start checking in at 8:15 a.m., and the opening session starts at 9:30 a.m. Students and advisers can choose from an array of sessions from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. The awards ceremony closes out the day and concludes about 3:30 p.m.

The price is $18.50 per person. Payment is not due at the time of registration–you will be billed after the event.

Monthly Contests

Critical Service

Membership
